Led By Neighbors
For their 2026 national campaign, Feeding America needed to shift perception from a national institution to a locally powered movement. The problem wasn't awareness. People know hunger exists. The problem was distance. A massive nonprofit can feel abstract, bureaucratic, and far away from the actual work.
The brief: make Feeding America feel as close as the neighbor next door.
“Led by Neighbors” highlights how people, not programs, are the true drivers of change in their communities.
The campaign tells the story of communities across the U.S. where people are standing alongside neighbors facing hunger to take small, meaningful actions and make sure families have enough to eat. The spot follows the rhythm of real community action, neighbors lifting, packing, and delivering. By the end, Feeding America isn't the hero. The neighbors are.
The campaign was featured on Good Morning America. Currently running across broadcast, social, and digital.
Summer Hunger
Under the Led by Neighbors 2026 campaign, Feeding America launched “Summer Hunger” to drive people to give in support of Feeding America’s efforts to close the summer meal gap for children.
When school meals disappear, neighbors step in. Every donation strengthens the support kids can count on, keeping them fed and free during the summer. Feeding America’s network partners with volunteers and donors who know their communities best. Together, they’ll get fresh healthy meals to kids wherever summer takes them. Summer meals aren’t about filling a short-term gap, they’re about nourishing what’s next.
The digital campaign was primarily launched through a series of short :15 to :30 spots, animated banners, and social posts across Facebook and Instagram.
